The AMS is proud to announce the expansion of Chery South Africaโs (SA) support to its Western Cape operation. Chery SA through its dealerships in Kuilsriver, Stellenbosch, and George will serve as the official vehicle sponsor for AMS’s Western Cape operations. This collaboration highlights Cheryโs dedication to supporting AMSโs critical mission of providing access to healthcare and delivering lifesaving assistance across the region.
โWe are grateful for Chery SAโs generous support and the crucial role they place in our mission. This partnership is a testament to the power of collaboration in advancing our life-saving work. With Cheryโs vehicles now part of our fleet, we can significantly enhance our ability to reach those in need more efficiently and effectively. This partnership not only strengthens our operational capabilities but also exemplifies how joint efforts can drive meaningful progress and improve access to essential healthcare across the Western Cape,โ Farhaad Haffejee AMS CEO.
โWe, at Chery SA appreciate the opportunity to aid AMS Western Cape in their efforts to do good, as we place great value on investing in causes that uplift communities in need. Going forward we hope to strengthen this partnership by expanding our support into more areas that require assistance. Itโs also good to know that the team will be traveling in safety and comfort when conducting their important workโ, Verene Petersen Head of Marketing, Chery SA.
โThe sponsored vehicles will be stationed at the Cape Town and Oudtshoorn bases. Building on their support in KwaZulu-Natal, where Chery SA has aided the AMSโs rural health outreach program, this partnership now extends to the Western Cape. In KwaZulu-Natal, the AMS uses a Pilatus PC-12 aircraft and ground support units to bridge the gap in access to specialist healthcare between urban and rural areas. The vehicles are essential for reaching remote areas with limited aircraft access and ensuring proximity to medical professionals. We are thankful for Chery SAโs expanded support, which will enhance our ability to provide critical services across the Western Cape. The vehicles will be used to enhance our critical valued added services such as training and ensure that we continue with our purpose to ensure equitable access to healthcare for all,โ concluded Farhaad Haffejee, AMS CEO.
