The SA Red Cross Air Mercy Service (AMS) will be hosting the first Aeromed Africa 2012 Conference and Exhibition at the Cape Town International Convention Centre from 13 to 16 March 2012.
This inaugural conference will address the role and contribution that aero-medical… services can play in contributing to healthcare delivery and the creation of access to scarce healthcare resources in developi…ng countries.
The conference, which will focus on the pre hospital care environment, mountain and sea rescue as well as the impact that aero-medical services can make in creating access to elective and preventative healthcare by way of a structured “Flying Doctor Service”, will provide a forum for organisations to share their experiences and learn from each other.
