The simulator is housed in a trailer and uses cutting-edge simulation technology to create access to excellent training resources in any environment, with an emphasis placed on rural access. The simulator is designed to provide training to large groups as well as immersive simulation using real aircraft communication systems and interior design. The class outside of the simulator is able to watch and hear all training underway in the simulator, whilst the educators facilitate learning for both those undergoing simulation and the group at large. The simulators reside in the Western Cape and Kwa-Zulu Natal, and travel to wherever training is needed.
We believe this modality of cost-effective and accessible training to have a great educational impact and lasting benefit for communities and healthcare practitioners of all disciplines.
