7 August 2022: Earlier today the Western Cape Department of Health EMS/AMS rescue helicopter was dispatched to the Hex River Mountains to airlift an injured hiker. Yesterday the rescue helicopter also airlifted an injured hiker from India Venster on Table Mountain. We wish both patients a speedy recovery. Images credit : Matthew Young & Lindsey Cyster.
