Qualified Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic

The successful candidates will be based at our Cape Town International Airport base.

The ideal applicant should have:

  • Successfully passed their trade test.
  • More than four years aviation maintenance experience in an operational environment on fixed and/or rotor wing aircraft. Preferable both.
  • A good understanding of aviation maintenance record keeping and reporting – routinely and on taskings.
  • A flexible approach to working hours and be prepared to travel to other bases.
  • Good computer literacy – Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. – with an understanding of aviation-based IT software – maintenance planning, manuals, component tracking, etc.
  • A good work ethic and be able to self-manage, but also work well within a team.
  • A positive attitude, ability to perform under pressure and good analytical and communication skills.
  • A professional commitment to the safety and quality of aircraft and maintenance facilities.
  • Additional training will be provided to be licensed on types (generals and type).
  • Own reliable transport is mandatory.
