On Friday, 30 May – @ipssmedicalrescue responded to a medical emergency in the Tinley Manor area. With the patient in a critical condition, every second counted. Thanks to swift and coordinated action between IPSS and AMS, the patient received urgent care when it mattered most.
After being stabilised on scene, Mercy Wing 5, the dedicated emergency helicopter based in KwaZulu-Natal, was activated to airlift the patient for further medical treatment.
“I would like to say a big thank you to IPSS and AMS, who saved my life on that fateful day with their excellent and quick reaction time in treating me. I would not be alive today, and my family would have had to carry on without me.”
