22 October 2024 – Earlier today, the Western Cape Department of Health & Wellness EMS/AMS rescue helicopter was dispatched to airlift an injured hiker from Platteklip Gorge. The patient was extracted & handed over to ER24 EMS (Pty) Ltd. ambulance for further treatment.
