27 December 2024 – Yesterday – The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Health activated Mercy Wing 5, the dedicated emergency helicopter based in KwaZulu-Natal Health for a motor vehicle accident in the Mooi River area in the Umgungundlovo district. The patient was airlifted to Greys Hospital for further medical treatment. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone involved.
