26 May 2025 – Yesterday, Mercy Wing 5, the dedicated emergency helicopter based in KwaZulu-Natal, was dispatched by the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Health for an interfacility transfer. The patient was transferred from Christ the King Hospital to uMgungundlovu Harry Gwala Regional Hospital.
