Premature neonate airlifted for specialised medical care

21 June 2024

The Western Cape Department of Health & Wellness EMS/AMS emergency fixed-wing aircraft was dispatched to airlift a premature neonate from Vredendal Provincial Hospital to Tygerberg Hospital, the second largest hospital in South Africa for specialist medical care.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the dedicated police and rescue crew for ensuring the runway is safe and clean for our operations. A clean runway is crucial for the safe and efficient landing of our aircraft. Their commendable efforts are greatly appreciated. 🚓🚒✈️
