10 June 2024 – Mandeni, KwaZulu-Natal, June 10, 2024 – Yesterday, Mercy Wing 5, the AMS KwaZulu-Natal emergency helicopter, was dispatched by IPSS Medical Rescue to airlift a patient who had sustained severe burns in an incident at a local industrial site.
The patient was airlifted to a specialised facility equipped to provide the highest level of care for such severe burn injuries.
