31 October 2024 – Earlier today, the Western Cape Department of Health & Wellness EMS/AMS rescue helicopter was dispatched to Signal Hill to airlift an injured paraglider. The paraglider was extracted and handed over to the local ambulance crew at the landing zone for further medical treatment.
