17 February 2025 – This weekend’s missions conducted by the Western Cape Department of Health & Wellness EMS/AMS rescue helicopter includes two rescue missions. On Saturday, the rescue helicopter was dispatched to Meerendal Wine Estate to rescue an injured hiker. On Sunday, the rescue helicopter was dispatched to Robertson to assist two hikers who were in distress while hiking in the Dassieshoek Local Nature Reserve.
